Vanitha Vijayakumar (nicknames Vinni aka Nitha) is an Indian actress. She has acted in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industry. She is the daughter of Tamil actor and politician Vijayakumar and South Indian actress Manjula Vijayakumar. She participated in Bigg Boss 3 Tamil. The show plays on Star Vijay.

Vanitha Vijayakumar has a long list of movies attached to her name. For her last movie, MGR Sivaji Rajini Kamal, the actress became the producer of the film. She debuted with Tamil film, Chandralekha in 1995. She debuted in Malayalam movies with Hitler Brother in 1997. She entered the Telugu film industry with movie Devi in 1999. She had a long successful career in south Indian movies.
Controversies:
Vanitha Vijayakumar has many controversies attached to her name. In 2010, she lodged a complaint against her father, mother, and brother for forcibly keeping her children and assaulting Vanitha Vijayakumar. In 2017, the actress’ second husband lodged a complaint again Vanitha Vijayakumar for kidnapping their daughter, Jaynitha. After getting divorced, Rajan Anand got to keep their daughter for weekdays and Vanitha Vijayakumar for weekends, but the actress forcibly kept Jaynitha for a week. Later, the court passed on the entire custody to Rajan Anand. In 2018, Vijayakumar complained against Vanitha Vijayakumar for illegally inheriting her mother’s property.
Vanitha Vijayakumar believes her father Vijayakumar has fraudulently acquired her mother property. She also says her father married her mother for wealth. He used to torture her mother and made her transfer the property to Vanitha Vijayakumar’s brother Arun Vijay.

Vanitha Vijayakumar has entered the Bigg Boss house to show her real self. The controversy followed her inside the house too. She was called by the police for formal investigation during her stay.
