Actor Tharshan Thiyagarajah completed his schooling at a local school in Jaffna, Srilanka. He completed B. Tech in Software Engineering from The Asia Pacific Institute Of Information Technology (APIIT), Colombo, Sri Lanka. He was recruited by a U.S. firm named Virtusa where he worked for 5 years. He got promoted by his firm and was transferred to Australia, but actor Tharshan Thiyagarajah turned down the offer and decided to enter in the entrainment industry.
