Maanas did his kindergarten at Siva Sivani Public School, Visakhapatnam. Then he did his graduation with B. Tech at Gokaraju Rangaraju College of Engineering, Hyderabad. He started his career as a child actor with the movie Narasimha Naidu in 2001.
In 2003, he acted in the film Veede.
Afterwards, he was cast in the films like Arjun and Jhalak (2011), directed by Ravi Sharma.
Maanas has also appeared in many South Indian films like Green Signal (2014), Kaai Raja Kaai (2015), Gang of Gabbar Singh (2015), Premikudu (2016), and Soda Goli Soda (2018).
