Born in the cultural city of Madurai on 15 April 1991, Maya is now 32 years old. She studied at TVS Lakshmi Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Madurai. Later, she pursued engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Bangalore. In 2016, she honed her acting skills by getting a certificate from the South Indian Artistes’ Association in Chennai.

Maya’s journey in films began with “Vaanavil Vaazhkai” in 2015. She played a news reporter in “Thodari” (2016) and was seen in the mega-hit “2.0” alongside superstar Rajinikanth in 2018.
