Career
She started her career as a theatre artist and has performed in more than 1000 theatre plays as of 2021. In 1996, she debuted as an actor in a Kannada TV serial. As of 2021, she has acted in more than 50 TV serials. She gained immense popularity with her character Ajjama in the Kannada TV serial ‘Putta Gowri Maduve’ (2012). Chandrakala has appeared in various Kannada films includingNaa Rani Nee Maharani’ (2010), ‘Prem Adda’ (2012), ‘Bhaktha Shankara’ (2015), and ‘Udumba’ (2019).
