Rahul Vaidya (full name Rahul Krushna Vaidya) is an Indian singer and live stage performer. He is popularly known for participating in the singing reality show Indian Idol (2004) Season 1 where he appeared as the second runner-up. Singer Rahul Vaidya is presently participating in  2021’s TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11.

BIOGRAPHY:

Rahul Vaidya was born in Nagpur on 23 September 1987 (age: 34 years as of 2021). His zodiac sign is Virgo. Since adolescence, Rahul has a profound enthusiasm for singing. In 2005, he launched his debut music album Tera Intezar.

PHYSICAL DETAILS:

Rahul Vaidya’s height is approx 5.5 feet, 1.66 in meters and 166 in centimetres. He has black eyes and black hair. He has no tattoo on his body.

FAMILY:

Rahul Vaidya belongs to a Hindu Family from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. He is an Indian by nationality and practises Hinduism. His father’s name is Krushna Vaidya who is an engineer at Maharashtra State Electricity Board and his mother’s name is Geeta Vaidya. He has an elder sibling named Shruti K Vaidya too.

EDUCATION:

Rahul Vaidya completed his initial education at Hansraj Moraji Public School situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra. After schooling, he pursued his graduation course at Mithibai College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

LOVE LIFE:

In 2017, there were rumours that Rahul was dating Syesha Kapoor, daughter of the popular Indian singer Alka Yagnik.

In 2020, while he was in the Bigg Boss house, he proposed to Indian TV actress Disha Parmar for marriage.

In 2021, Rahul Vaidya was wedded to DishaParmar in Mumbai (16 July). Moreover, Rahul Vaidya’s better half Disha Parmar is an Indian actress and model by profession.

CAREER AS A SINGER:

When Rahul was in 12th standard, he participated in the TV reality show Indian Idol (2004). He came out as the second runner up in the show, as Abhijeet Sawant (Indian singer) won the show.

After taking a break of eight months, the singer made his debut appearance with the music album “Tera Intezar” (2005). In addition, in this sequential, he worked as an anchor in TV reality shows like ‘Jhoom India’ (2007) and ‘Aajaa Mahi Vay’ (2008).

In 2008, he participated in the TV reality show Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar and was the winner of the show. From that point forward, he also won the TV reality show Music Ka Maha Muqqabla.

Likewise, he sang many single songs like ‘God Promise Dil’ from the film ‘Shaadi No. 1’, ‘Chunar Chunar’ from ‘Kisse Pyaar Karoon’, ‘Baaton Ko Teri Unplugged’ from ‘All Is Well’, and ‘Meri Zindagi’ from ‘Bhaag Johnny’.

Rahul has also worked as a Radio Jockey for Big FM.

Singer Rahul Vaidya has released a few Hindi music albums like ‘Fan’ (2014), ‘Vande Mataram’ (2014), ‘Do Chaar Din’ (2016), ‘Keh Do Na’ (2018), and ‘Yaad Teri’ (2019).

Moreover, In 2016, he signed an Indo-Bangladeshi film Senapati A Legacy Of Blood.

In 2020, he entered Bigg Boss 14 house as a contestant. The show was hosted by Salman Khan and was broadcasted on Colors TV. Rahul vaidya was the first runner up of Bigg Boss 14.

Rahul runs a YouTube channel “Rahul Vaidya RKV” with 936K subscribers (as of 2021). His YouTube videos are quite popular and he received millions of views on his music videos.

In 2010, he performed for the Sankalp group in Mumbai for the Navratri festival that was earlier performed by Falguni Pathak (Indian singer). Rahul has performed live in various stage shows held in India and abroad.

JOURNEY IN KHATRON KE KHILADI:

In 2021, Rahul Vaidya took an interest in the Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11. He made his entry into Cape Town, South Africa as a show contestant. The Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11 is hosted by Rohit Shetty and is broadcasted on Colors TV.

Rahul’s mother Geeta Vaidya recognised his singing talent while he was singing Lord Ganesha’s bhajan in a religious event in their locality. Singer Rahul Vaidya has won many awards for his singing.

In an interview, he revealed about his startup career in music, he said,

I don’t come from a musical family. I did not want to become a singer since childhood. But when I was seven, my father was transferred from Nagpur to Mumbai. Once I sang a bhajan for the Ganpati festival and someone gave me Suresh Wadekar Institute’s address. After listening to me, Sureshji told my parents that I should take music lessons. I learned music for six years. That’s how I became serious about a singing career.”
