Abhinav Shukla is an Indian television and film actor. From various serials to Aksar 2 (Bollywood film), Abhinav, standing true to his name, has carved a niche for himself in the television industry. He is the husband of the television actress, Rubina Dilaik. Abhinav became an overnight sensation by playing the role of Dr Manan in Star Plus sequential Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. BIOGRAPHY

Abhinav Shukla was born on 27 September 1982 (39 years) at Ludhiana, Punjab. Abhinav is a professed person since his childhood. To pursue his dream of becoming an actor, he left his cushy life and house in Ludhiana and reached Mumbai, where he initially struggled a lot like any other newcomer. His mother always supported him to choose his profession as an actor and even advised him to work actively on his body and looks. Shukla was bitten by the modelling bug after he completed college life. After that, he used to participate in several modelling contests. He also won the title of Gladrags Mr India and even won the Mr Best Potential award. With time and struggle, not only did he start getting offers for numerous roles but he even participated in the most popular TV reality show, Bigg Boss. He never aspired to become an actor, but fortune had a different plan for him. While Abhinav was in the final year of college, he got inspired by his mother to work upon his body.

His journey in the glamorous world has not been an easy ride. The battle during the low phase of his life right before his entry into the modelling field inspired Abhinav to hit the gym which helped him to get back on track instantly and achieve a chiselled physique. He is the son of K.K. Shukla and Radha Shukla. Abhinav is very close to his mother. Both of his parents work as government employees. Abhinav’s father is an Entomologist at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, and his mother works as a teacher at Guru Nanak Public School in Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. He considers his elder brother (Naval Officer) as his inspiration.

Abhinav got married to his long time girlfriend Rubina Dilaik (actress) on 21 June 2018 in Shimla.

EDUCATION

Abhinav is very passionate about sports and gaining scientific knowledge since childhood. Abhinav completed his schooling at Guru Nanak Public School, Ludhiana. After schooling, he started his college at Lala Lajpat Rai Institute Of Engineering and Technology, Moga, Punjab and completed his B.Tech in Electronics & Communication.

CAREER

After completing his studies, Abhinav left his house in Ludhiana and moved to Mumbai to pursue his dream to become an actor. As for everyone dreaming to become an actor isn’t a cakewalk, he struggled a lot during his initial years in Mumbai. Later his modelling career got a kick start and end up featuring in many popular television shows like Geet, Ek Hazzaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Hitler Didi, Survivor India Season 1, and Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Later in 2008, he debuted in a sports-oriented TV show Jersey No. 10 which aired on SAB TV. His breakthrough acting role came when he was cast in Salman Khan’s film Jai Ho In 2014. However, the film went off-air abruptly and received a huge box office collection.

Another huge role that carved him into a big star is that of Ricky Khambata in the film Aksar 2 along with the popular television actress Zareen Khan and actor Gautam Rode.
