Bhat is a talented dancer who has established himself as a choreographer at a very young age. He developed an interest in dancing at a very young age and was always passionate about dancing. He has worked as a choreographer in many dancing reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 3, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 4, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 5, Nach Baliye, Boogie Woogie, and a few seasons of Bigg Boss. BIOGRAPHY

Nishant Bhat was born on 8 April. He is a famous choreographer who was born and brought up in Mumbai. His Zodiac sign is Aries. Bhat did his schooling in Mumbai. He was always interested in learning dancing. The dancer made his TV debut with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2013 along with the Indian film actress Shilpa Shukla. He got much attention due to his cute acts during the show. After that, he started working as a choregrapher and choreographed several dancing shows. Nishant Bhat choreographed many popular Hindi television actresses like Ankita Lokhande, Gia Manek, Shilpa Shukla, and more.

Nishant’s curiosity for dancing and choreographing made him more indulged in this line of fame at an early age; beginning with choreographing in a dance reality show.

Nishant started his career as a dancer in 2013 by working as a choreographer in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3. He choreographed the popular actress, Shilpa Shukla. Next, he appeared in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, where he worked as a choreographer for the popular Indian television actress, Ankita Lokhande. In 2012, he assisted the TV serial Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fame Gia Manek.

Subsequently, he appeared in dance reality shows like Super Dancer: Chapter 1 as the choreographer of the contender Varsha.

Nishant then worked as a choreographer for the contestant named Arushi Saxena in Super Dancer 2 in 2017. In 2018, he emerged as a winner of Super Dancer 3 along with the contender, Rupsa Batabyal, a contender from Kolkata. Bhat has choreographed many seasons of the dancing reality shows, Super Dancer and Nach Baliye.

Moreover, he also worked as a choreographer for a few seasons of the most controversial show, Bigg Boss (when contenders performed while entering the Bigg Boss house and at the time of the finale).

CONTROVERSY

While he was in the Bigg Boss OTT house in 2021, there was a controversial fight between him and his co-contestant Shamita Shetty. Shamita incriminated him for misbehaving with her before they were in Bigg Boss house. While talking to a co-contestant in the Bigg Boss house, Shamita told,

I don’t want to mention what incident it was but he once crossed the line with me and I didn’t like it. I told him sternly that he did wrong and he didn’t speak to me after that. I should keep a distance from him I don’t want to be reminded of that. At the stage also when I saw him, I just reacted that I know him”.

• Nishant revealed in an interview that he had been through various hardships in his career. He told,

It’s a very long conversation, but to cut it short, I would just say that [I’m] grateful for the past 15 years. I’ve been a choreographer, dancer, assistant and in today’s time, I am doing very well. I have been a part of all the possible best shows, even during the lockdown, I had to say no to some shows because of the dates. But to get here also has not been easy, because it is quite a difficult position and designation. Every day there are new dancers coming, formats changing and to survive all that and still have a show and be part of the best shows, I think it’s taken me 15 years to reach here which is quite long, so I think that’s the hardship”.

He further said,

But after that, it just didn’t happen because new dancers started coming in, new shows started happening and I never participated in any show as a contestant, I have always been a choreographer. So they stopped calling me and there were like 4-5 years when there was no work for me. There was no money happening for me, so it was a tough phase. It was quite a bad time. But I never gave up. I was still struggling and I went back to dancing and assisting. I have this quality that I don’t give up so easily if I want something I get it”.

JOURNEY IN BIGG BOSS OTT

After working as a choreographer for few seasons, Nishant has dared to live inside the controversial house of Bigg Boss. He said that he has worked as a choreographer for various seasons of Bigg Boss. Nishant also added this is the first time he will be in front of the camera. Commencing about his Bigg Boss journey, he revealed,

I am a full-on Bigg Boss fan and have watched all the seasons. In fact, I even worked on previous seasons of Bigg Boss. I have choreographed finales and openings for the show. I do not think too much. I have done a few reality shows. I jump into them, without much of a thought and then give it my best, my hundred percent”.
