Utkarsh Anand Shinde was born on 11 January 1986 (age 35 years; as of 2021) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. He has always been interested in acting, especially cultural activities. He used to participate in annual celebrations and various other occasions. When Utkarsh was a small child, his family struggled a lot due to their financial crisis. Belonging from a Dalit caste, his family suffered from several allegations made against them by the unfavourable society that doesn’t want to accept Dalit artists. His brother, Aadarsh Shinde, is the recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke, India’s highest award in the field of cinema. Utkarsh Anand Shinde is the director of Vijayaanand Music Private Limited (Shinde family’s production company).

FAMILY & WIFE

Utkarsh Anand Shinde was born in a Dalit family and identifies himself as a Buddhism believer. He is the son of Anand Shinde, an Indian playback singer and Neha Lele. Utkarsh is the grandson of Prahlad Shinde.

He has two brothers, Aadarsh Shinde, and Harshad Shinde. Aadarsh is a singer and music composer.

On 30 May 2016, he got engaged to a doctor, Swapnaja Narwade.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

He did his schooling at M T S Khalsa High School in Goregaon West, Mumbai.

He completed his BHMS from Padmashree Dr DY Patil Homeopathic Medical College and Research Centre in Pimpri, Pune, India.

Thereafter, Utkarsh Anand Shinde completed his Postgraduate course of Homeopathy from the University of London.

Later, Utkarsh pursued an honoured degree PGDES from Longwood University, Virginia, USA.

DOCTOR

Utkarsh Anand Shinde started his career in Pune and worked as a Homeopathy doctor at Dr Shinde’s Multispeciality & Homeopathy Clinic in 2012.

SINGER

Utkarsh started his musical career as a singer with the song Ghungarachya Talamandi from the Marathi film Priyatama.

However, he got his big break at the time when he recorded a song with his father and brother for the film Priyatama, which later went on to become a huge hit.

He has also produced music for numerous devotional albums and Ambedkarite geet like Marathi Ganpati Geete, Bhimachi Por Aali Maidanat, Bhima Tu Ye Punha, Bhimji Ka Deewana, Tu Ga Laaun Nighalis Lipstick, Tujh Vin Priye Me, Aai Aahe Swarg Baba Darwaja, etc.

ACTOR

Apart from being a great singer, Utkarsh has also acted in Marathi movies. He made his Marathi television debut with the film Power (2013), and Phoonkar (2015).

Utkarsh is the director of Vijayaanand Music Private Limited, the production company entrenched by the Shinde family.

In addition to his acting and singing journey, Utkarsh Anand Shinde is also linked up with the Republican Party of India (A).
